Large sunny apartment in Bayside with balcony

1 room available in a beautiful home in Bayside! Me and one other person (male) will be moving in, and we need one more person before we can sign the lease.

It is a 3 bedroom house with a shared bathroom and kitchen. (I have my own bathroom so you will only be sharing with one male roommate). The living room gets lots of light and has a small balcony.

The room available is pretty large, you can definitely fit a queen-size bed and some other furniture.

Rent includes water and heat. There is a coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement.

The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, and there is lots of street parking. There are a lot of parks and jogging trails nearby. The house is an 8-minute walk to Bell Blvd, where there are lots of stores, bars and restaurants, with almost any kind of cuisine you can think of. The Q12 and Q13 buses are very nearby, and Q30/Q31 are less than a 10-minute walk. The LIRR is a 12-minute walk away.

I have a cat who is very sweet and friendly, so you must be ok with cats. Unfortunately the owner is not allowing any more pets. No smoking of any kind.

About me (Ashley) and the other roommate (Ryan): I am a full-time social worker and Ryan is a grad student at St. Johns. We are both very quiet, keep to ourselves, but are both friendly and are cool with hanging out and chatting over a drink or watching a movie on Netflix. We both read A LOT...so we may be fighting over bookshelf space! We will definitely want to do a video chat with the 3 of us to make sure we all get along.
