Looking for Roommate

My name is Katrina. I'm a 26YO Filipina, originally from Westchester, NY. I moved to Bayside a year ago for school. I'm a full-time PA student looking to find a roommate. Ideally, I am looking for another student but I am open to other people.

I clean a lot, so I hope my roommate will too. I spend the majority of my time studying but in my spare time, I like to play volleyball and work out, so I will always be down to go for a run. I like to go out for drinks occasionally, but I'm not a real party person anymore (game night is where it's at though!). I would like to be friends with my roommate, but if they prefer to keep things separate, that is okay too. I'm pretty easy going but I go to school all day, so I like the apt to just be quiet and calm when I get home to unwind.

Not too big a fan of blasting music, taking things without asking (though I'll most likely say 'Yes' if you ask), and slamming doors. I pay for everything via student loans and some help from my parents, so rent will always be paid on time from my end.

The apt is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood in Bayside, Queens. The entrance is on the side of the house. We would have the entire first floor. A family lives upstairs and a couple lives downstairs. There is a shared bathroom with a tub, a small kitchen, and a pretty large living room/dining room area (yellow room - that has since been painted light grey). There is an AC in each room that can be taken out if needed. There are a washer and dryer in the basement available to us. There's a small backyard that you can see from your room window and a table where you can sit to study, enjoy the sunny afternoon, or enjoy a morning coffee. There is always street parking, the LIRR is a 10-minute walk, or the Q12 is a 3-minute walk away on Northern Blvd. The highways are pretty close too (closest one being Cross Island Pkway), but the Clearview is also pretty close.

On Northern, there is a Dunkin Donuts (with a drive-thru), Burger King, and Wendy's all just a 3-minute walk away. In the other direction, a 7-minute walk will bring you to Bell Blvd where there are A LOT of restaurants, a Bank of America, stores (Martha's Bakery included!), and bars. A couple of nice parks are nearby as well. Hopefully, you'll love the neighborhood as much as I do!
