Available: Small room with a closet and one window ($1050) OR large room with no closet and two windows ($1200) in a lovely Astoria apartment. Either room can be furnished or unfurnished. The rent includes utilities. Preference for short term rentals, including just for the summer.
The space: There is a large kitchen, open common area with a dining and living room space, a shared bathroom, and a balcony/patio. There is a beautiful patio off the kitchen that I take care of. There is also a garden in front, and an additional outdoor area in the back. I adore the apartment and hope you will too!
About me: I have a flexible work schedule, including some days working from home, and am out fairly often, although not always the usual work hours. I use part of the common area as an art studio with my partner one day a week. I am generally quiet, chill, and clean while at home. I also really enjoy hosting people for wine on the balcony, weekend dinners, and Saturday (Shabbat) lunches/afternoons, but it's never a loud party vibe - wine, nice music, making art, eating good food.
