Our apartment is just 3 minutes to 30th Ave Station where you can ride going to Manhattan. You can certainly find an oasis here at Astoria in the bustling city of New York.
This recently renovated, luxurious apartment is on the third floor of a three-story townhouse (no elevator) in Astoria, Queens. The private room is spacious and fully furnished which has a lovely and comfortable bed and closet. It gives off a natural light during the day because of its huge windows. There is also a laptop-friendly workspace with a fancy lampshade whenever you feel the need to work plus a fast Wi-Fi connection. You will never feel the hassle since the apartment is close to popular spots in the neighborhood like Astoria Park that has the largest pool which is a perfect fit for summer. This is a good match for young professionals and internationals who wants to develop a soulful and vibrant life here in Astoria.

NYS COVID-19 TRAVEL ADVISORY
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has announced new guidelines allowing travelers to New York to “test out” of the mandatory 14-day quarantine. Travelers from states that are contiguous with New York are exempt from the travel advisory; however covered travelers must continue to fill out the Traveler Health Form. Essential workers will continue to be exempt as well. The guidance also applies to international travelers coming from any CDC Level 2 or Level 3 Health Notice country. The new protocol is effective Wednesday, November 4.

For any traveler to New York State from a noncontiguous state, US territory or CDC level 2 or level 3 country, the new guidelines for travelers to test-out of the mandatory 14-day quarantine are below:
・For travelers who were out-of-state for more than 24 hours:
・Travelers must obtain a test within three days of departure, prior to arrival in New York.
・The traveler must, upon arrival in New York, quarantine for three days.
・On day 4 of their quarantine, the traveler must obtain another COVID test. If both tests comes back negative, the traveler may exit quarantine early upon receipt of the second negative diagnostic test.

*My apartments are shared apartments and can't be used for self-quarantine. Please book a hotel for the first few days following the arrival date and reserve my listing after the self-quarantine period.
There is a kitchen with kitchenware and a living room for common use!
Weekly common space cleaning is provided.
The spaces are maintained very clean.
The cleaning person will come clean and take out garbage once a week.
This apartment is a shared space, I do not live here (just within the area) and would take pleasure in helping your stay be as awesome as possible! I enjoy hosting people from all over the world and have been doing this for years.

Always on the list of “Best Neighborhood in New York to live in for young professionals,” Astoria is best-known for its beautiful Astoria Park under the Hell Gate Bridge. Only 20 minutes away from Times Square by the N, R or W, the R train will take you straight to Steinway Street where you will find literally everything ranging from ethnic restaurants, cafes, gyms, and shopping facilities.

One of the most appreciated destinations is Astoria Park, a haven for sports enthusiasts. The park is a perfect location for a stroll after that wonderful dinner. Tennis courts, multiple trails, and all kinds of outdoor activities attract visitors from all places. Oh, while at the park, you can also check out the stunning view on the edge of the East River between the Triborough Bridge and Hell Gate Bridge. Get yourself that unique instagram pic!

If parks are not your cup of tea, there are several gyms around the stations like Club Fitness and Astoria Sports Complex too! You will never face the fear of eating too much!
The apartment is located in Astoria Queens NY just 3 mins to 30th Ave Station.
Many Japanese and Europeans live in this area.

Just 17 minutes away from Midtown, the building is a very good location to commute to your job or school within the area of Manhattan.

There is a couple of grocery stores and a lot of cafe/restaurants in front of the nearest station.
The street is busy, but it is a quiet and safe neighborhood.
I would personally recommend this area since this area can acquire most of your everyday needs.

Astoria is probably one of the best neighborhoods in Queens.
Over the last few years, lots of young professional types have discovered the neighborhood.

The bottom line, Astoria is a safe neighborhood with a good commute to Manhattan.
It is also a beautiful place for night jogging.
All my booked guests felt safe walking from the train to the apartment (at all times).

The bedroom does not have a lock due to New York regulations. Instead, a chain lock or slide lock is installed inside the door so you can lock it when you are in the bedroom.

Valuables can be stored in the closet with a lock.

4. Overnight guests are subject for approval and FEE. Overnight guests stay is 7 nights maximum only! You will be responsible for your overnight guest.
5. We have a STRICT quiet hours between 10pm to 10am. Please respect other guests/roommates.
6. (June through September) AC is installed during the summer time only and may be removed during cold season.
7. (October through May) Heating will only be turn on from if outside temperature drops below 55°F
8. No shoes inside.
9. Housekeeping will come once a week for the common areas.
