Huge Bedroom w/ private half bath in Astoria

Hello!

I am leaving my HUGE room with a private half bath in Astoria for $1100 and I’m looking for a roommate to replace me on March 1st.

About the Apartment:

- 3-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom
- 3rd floor walk-up
- Spacious living area (We have a 55” TV not pictured in the photos as we are getting a new TV unit); separate eat-in kitchen with a lot of cabinets/counter space
- Balcony
- Plenty of storage and closet space
- As you’ll see in the pictures, we got a bit lazy about decorating, but you’re more than welcome to do so!

Your room:

The bedroom is huge—16”x11” and can fit a queen or king-sized bed and plenty of furniture. You will also have your own half-bath, only sharing the shower with the other two roommates in the main bathroom. The room has a walk-in closet that has two rows for hanging clothes, and I can fit a tall dresser inside as well. There are also two rows of shelves with space up to the ceiling. This bedroom is available for $1100 which includes heat and hot water, but not electricity/gas. We have Verizon Fios internet. Bills for internet, electricity, and gas range from $55-100 depending on the time of year (it was a bit high this year since I was working from home, running AC all day throughout the summer, etc.)

We originally signed a year-long lease but are now month-to-month, which means flexibility should you ever want to move. We just ask that you find a replacement if that is the case. We have a fantastic relationship with our landlord, who lives in the basement unit.

About the Neighborhood
-The apartment is a 9-minute walk from the N and W train at the Astoria Blvd. stop or Ditmars Blvd. stop. The M60-SBS, Q101, and Q19 are just around the corner, about a 2-minute walk.

- We’re a 5-minute walk from restaurants/bars/shops on Ditmars Blvd. or 10 minutes to 30th Avenue.

- Located on a quiet block with brand new C-Town 6 minutes away and a laundromat right around the corner, just a 2-minute walk.

- About a 17-minute walk to Astoria Park with a running track, swimming pool, and great views of the city.

About your future roommates
Denise and Matt will both be turning 28 in the next few months, are Irish, and work in the service industry. They’re very friendly/outgoing but will give you your space if that’s what you prefer. Denise works about 6 days a week so is not home that much. Matt tends to be home more often for now, but once things return to normal, he likely won’t be home a lot either. They’re used to living with someone who works a 9-5 job and respect that my hours were different than theirs. They drink but don’t smoke, and they don’t bring the party home.

About You
Looking for a male or female (sorry, no couples), preferably in their mid-late 20's to mid-30’s with a steady job and income. One month security deposit is required. Ideally, their future roommate is clean, considerate, friendly, and easy-going. Guests/overnight guests are welcome.
