Happy New Year! I have an excellent spot for you. Unfortunately, I have to go but let me tell you about this fantastic spot. It's in Astoria and near some great restaurants within walking distance.
The room is very spacious with two windows and faces the back, so it's quiet. The room sits closer to the bathroom, so it's private from the other rooms. The room has excellent closet space and room for an armoire and dresser (which I have); also, since I'm working from home, I have a desk in the room. Again, ample space.
It's a two-family home, and the landlord is downstairs with his family. They're great, and you rarely see them. Let's talk about roommates. Dante and Rachelle are LGBTQ friendly and love a good time. Very friendly. Rachelle is theatrical, and a great singer, lovely and has a hypoallergenic cat named Luna-who is beautiful. Dante is quieter but down for a chat and drinks at any time. The common room is cozy, and we keep the place neat.
