1 Bedroom in 3 Bedroom Apt in Astoria ($1000)

Hi there! I’m looking for someone to take over the remainder of my lease in Astoria, Queens. Seeking a clean, kind human (grad student or late-20s) to fill my room in a 3-bedroom apt in Astoria/LIC. Available immediately until March 31, 2021, with an opportunity to renew the lease. Rent is $1000/month and utilities run (wifi + electric) about $50 each per month. Bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished, with A/C included (fits a queen-sized bed, dresser, desk and side table).

The Apartment: It's a large, sunny, tidy space on the 5th floor of a walk-up right off of the 30th Ave N/W stop. Apartment has one shared bathroom, a nice kitchen, and a HUGE living room. The hardwood floors and massive windows give the space an airy, homey feel. Laundry room is in the basement or there is drop-off service around the corner. Only 25 min subway commute to Manhattan! Two short blocks from the N / W Trains at 30th Ave. Easy 30 min bike ride to Midtown via the Queensboro Bridge if you’d prefer to avoid the subway.

The Hood: The neighborhood is clean and quiet, but still accessible to all the great bars, restaurants, and stores that Astoria has to offer. Just 5 minutes away from the hot 30th Ave neighborhood. It’s easy to order takeout if you’d prefer to kick it at home, or it’s a close walk to Astoria Park. At the park you can enjoy the new track, tennis courts, or sunbathe on the grass with some nibbles and frose and a good book.

My current roommates are two very friendly females in their late 20s.
