Hi all

I am moving out on December 7 and am looking for someone to take over my room. You can move-in on any date in December (Ideally December 8), and are expected to pay that share of rent for December.

The available room is the master bedroom with an attached half-bathroom in a huge 3 bedroom apartment in Astoria. As the pictures show, there is enough space for a queen size bed, a couch!, desk, book shelf, shoe rack, and still plenty of space to walk around in the room.

Apartment details:

1. Location! - At the intersection of 43rd and Broadway. 4 minute walking distance to both the 46th Street and Steinway stops [M, R]. Manhattan in around 15 minutes.

10 minutes from Laguardia and about 20-30 minutes from JFK!

Great grocery stores, bars, and restaurants nearby. Also gyms in case you enjoy the food here a bit too much.

3. Shared huge living room and kitchen.
4. Shared main bathroom with the other two tenants. You will have your own private attached toilet, so this essentially means shared shower.
5. Nice and responsive landlords.
Room details:

1. 16ft X 12ft sunny room.
2. Walk-in closet.
3. Furnishings (if desired). Bed+mattress, couch, coffee table, desk, book shelves and lamp provided (all for an extra $100).

Rent: 1050 + utilities (internet, gas and electric) <= 1130. Heat is included in rent. There is a security deposit of $933 (total rent divided by 3) when you take the room.

One tenant is a journalist and the other is an IT professional. Very social and friendly guys. We are looking for a relaxed and easygoing roommate (don't care about gender/profession/nationality) . Ideal age 20-40. We are ideally looking for someone who can sign a one-year lease. We have been living here for about 5 years now and absolutely love the apartment, the landlords, and the area.
