Looking for one roommate for my Astoria two bedroom apartment! 20 minute commute to midtown and steps away from the 30th Ave N/W station.

About me: I majored in Musical Theatre but am currently working as a nanny. Will soon be transitioning to working a full time job. I?m super focused, always out and about, but when I am home I love to cook!

Who Im looking for:
Someone driven, neat, and easy going. Someone who is a good communicator as it?ll only be the two of us. I am looking for someone who has a steady job, someone who is reliable and proactive, and is going to share half of the duties (including cleaning and shopping for shared products, always tidying up after using a space).

I am looking for someone to sign a sublet agreement for the entire year, but would be willing to do six months if it?s really a good match.

Electric $40-$50 a month
Water and heat is included.

Room:
-Spacious room facing the street with natural light
-Decent size closet with shelving
-Built in air conditioning unit (this is huge! It?s in great condition, and you wouldn?t need to worry about hitter months)
-Harwood floors
-There are a few shelves on the walls from the previous tenant. I left them, but am happy to take them down if you can?t find use for them.

Apartment:

Complete open concept, the kitchen and living room is one space. Great for having small groups of people over. Hardwood floor throughout. The kitchen area has tile so it?s super easy to clean up.

-Includes full size stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher (so it?s great if you love to cook!)
-Tile floor super easy for cleanup
-Tons of cabinet space.

Fully furnished and has everything you could possibly need! The only stuff you need to bring are things for your own room, I?ve got the rest covered (including anything you could need to cook, clean, etc). I?m very neat and organized so it?s important to me that the shared space is always kept tidy.

Location:
-Less than a minute walk to the N/W at the 30th Ave station. It takes a good thirty seconds to walk there, it?s a dream (also really great for when it?s freezing during the winter)
-Very quick commute to the city. Takes about 15-20 minutes to get to midtown
-Key foods, Greenbay Organic Grocery store, Rite aid, and multiple 24 hour fruit and vegetable places all within a minute walk.
-The R train is about a 15 minute walk on Steinway.
-Countless restaurants and bars all along 30th Ave, plus only one stop away to either Broadway or Ditmars where there are even more places. Great place to live if you like to go out!
-The laundry mat is just around the corner, about a minute walk.
-The area is super safe, very family oriented, and has countless places to meet people.
-The building only has four apartments total, so it?s very quiet. You?ll never have to worry about people making a lot of noise.
