The space:
One small sized bedroom in a two story house. Room comes furnished with bed, mattress, side table, desk and a build-in closet. Additional space for personal items or clothing in a wide private dresser located right outside the bedroom. Coats and purses can be placed in the entrance closet if that?s something you want to do.

Apartment is on the second floor, plenty of sunshine during the day. Huge shared kitchen, living room, balcony and bathroom.

10 mins walking to the R/M Steinway street stop, or N/W 30Ave stop or 5mins away with bus (stop is one block away).

Everything you need is a couple blocks away: grocery stores, delis, pharmacy, cafes, pubs, bars and hundreds of wonderful restaurants of any sort.

The apartment is very clean and we prefer a female working professional roomate with a stable daily job who is clean, respects the common areas and other roommate?s privacy. We are two female working professionals in our 30s and we care about keeping the apartment in good shape. Please be a considered person who has shared spaces in NYC with others before.

There is no shared TV, but everyone watches their own fav programs on their laptops anyways.
Utilities vary from season to season but they usually never go beyond $40/45 each per month, including gas, electricity and internet. Deposit $800, rent due 1st day of the month. No broker fee.

Ideal Roommate:
We would love to find a female working professional in her late 20s or 30s with a steady daytime job, and a regular work schedule. We prefer someone who doesn't work from home. Please offer proof of stable income. Someone who doesn?t mind sharing cleaning duties regularly or if preferred, pays for a cleaning person when it?s her time to clean common areas. Someone who is sociable, yet respects other roommate?s privacy. Also, we use this place as a relaxing oasis after spending a long day at work, so please be respectful and keep noises to a minimum. Guests can come visit with a little notice to other roommates, but we prefer no overnight guests.

About me:
I am in my mid 30's. I'm a teacher working FT with young children, so I really appreciate going back to a place where everybody is considerate of each other's privacy and time off. During my free time I like to relax watching movies or going to live music (I'm also a musician) and art shows.
