My boyfriend and I have rented this spacious 2 and 1 apartment in Ditmars and we have an extra room! Living room and other spaces will be furnished but have enough room for your stuff! We will both be attending law school at CUNY in Long Island City in the fall and will basically be gone 9-5 M-F and are looking for a roommate who keeps a similar schedule. Student would be preferable but we don?t mind what you do, as long as you?re respectful/courteous, don?t have people over every day, keep communal spaces clean etc... and we just ask that the place be quiet during nighttime hours as we will most likely be studying. We will gladly do the same in return!
The apartment itself is on the basement level and very spacious. We have exclusive access to a backyard space. It?s a 4-5 min walk to two different bus lines that both go to LIC and Manhattan. It?s about a 10 minute walk to the N/W train lines. About the same walk to the main thoroughfare of Astoria. All utilities ( including internet ) are included in the $1000/month rental price.
