Two rooms available in a beautiful home in Bayside! Two of us are moving out (one roommate started at a new school, and I just got married) and we need people to take over our leases. There are 4 months remaining on the current lease, and when it’s over, you can sign a 12-month lease.

It is a 3 bed, 2 bath apartment with a shared bathroom, living room, and kitchen. There is a small space in the first floor entryway that we have converted into a shared office for WFH/studying. The living room gets lots of light and has a balcony.

The LARGE bedroom ($1100) is approximately 10’ x 12’. It can fit a queen or king size bed, has 2 large closets, and has an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

The SMALL bedroom ($800) is approximately 8’ x 9’. It can fit a twin or full size bed and has one large closet. The bed frame and mattress in the room are for sale (low price) if needed. They are in perfect condition and mattress is still in its plastic cover.

Rent includes water and heat. The neighborhood is VERY quiet and safe, and there is lots of street parking. There are a lot of parks and jogging/biking trails nearby. The house is an 8-minute walk to Bell Blvd, where there are lots of stores, bars, and restaurants, with almost any kind of cuisine you can think of! No laundry in the building, but a laundromat is a short walk away. The Q12 and N20 bus are down the block, and Q30/Q31/Q13 are less than a 10-minute walk. The LIRR to Manhattan is a 12-minute walk away. It is right by the Cross Island Parkway, Clearview Expressway, and Horace Harding Expressway. The landlord lives right around the corner and doesn’t come to the apartment much.

There is currently one roommate, Amelia, who is very friendly and laid-back. The apartment will be mostly unfurnished. There will be 3 people living in the apartment and we will definitely want to do a video chat with all potential roommates to make sure everyone gets along. To apply, you will need proof of income (at least 3 paystubs), proof of employment, credit check, and a bank statement. No smoking and no pets.
