Hey all! Looking to find a roomie to fill a bedroom at my apartment in Astoria. The place is a less-than-10 minute walk to the subway (N/W Ditmars stop) and Ditmars Blvd, which has a ton of restaurants, bars, etc. Also, a few blocks away from a Lidl grocery store, which has amazing prices considering it’s NYC. The room being rented is the first couple of photos, and has a nice closet (the 6’ 10 x11’ 4 room on the floor plan). The room will come unfurnished. Utilities will be split equally (internet/electric usually comes to $70-$100 each per month, depending on season). Must be LGBTQ+ friendly!
About me— very easy going and chill. I work a 9-5 M-F in Manhattan. When I get home, I like to relax and catch up on my tv shows (If you love Real Housewives, extra points for you!)… on the weekends, I do my usual errands and generally chill at home and keep to myself. Not opposed to hanging out and getting brunch, happy hour, etc!
Landlord is super cool and lenient but as with all new tenants, he has his requirements. He is asking for the following:
-Credit check
-First month rent + 1 month security deposit to move in
-Work and personal reference
-Last landlord reference
-Last 2 months pay stubs
