ISO female roommate for lease takeover

Hi all! ISO a female roommate to take over the lease for 1 bed in a shared 2B/1Ba waterfront apartment in Orange County. I am the roommate who is moving, and I am helping my roommate find my replacement. :)

📍 Location: Newburgh NY, walking distance to restaurants like Hudson Taco and 10 min from Beacon and the Metro-North, which gets you to Grand Central in ~90 min.
🏠 Rent: $1200/month (plus your share of utilities)
🗓️Move-in: November 9
🗓️Lease Ends: March 31 2026, with option to renew a year-long lease with the landlord after

🛌 The bedroom comfortably fits a queen-sized bed, desk and dresser and has a closet. The biggest plus to this place is it gets a TON of sunlight. The rest of the shared space includes a living room, modern kitchen with dishwasher, a full bath, a quarter-bath with a washer and dryer, a walk-in pantry, 2 more closets — and what we call the “window room” looking over the Hudson. The overall apartment complex includes: free off-street parking, snow removal, security and a seasonal pool.

About your roommate: 30sF working from home. Easygoing and quiet, but works hards to keep the space clean and cozy. There’s also a senior kitty with a lot of personality who sleeps all day. Unfortunately the kitty is best on her own — no other pets at this time, please.

About you: you’re a woman in her late 20s or 30s who is also on the quiet side and has a proven history of paying rent and bills on time, cleaning up after yourself, and communicating with respect and kindness.
