Quiet Room for Rent on UES!

Hello!

My roommate is moving in with his S/O and his room is available starting July 31st!

Apartment is a 2 bed/2 bath 4th FL walkup (less noisy, more light) in a great location on East 93rd St between 1st/2nd Aves. One minute walk to Q, W trains and 5 minute walk to 4,5,6 trains. Amazing restaurants, bars, grocery stores all in walking distance! Dry cleaner/laundry drop-off service on the block and laundromat one minute away. Great price for the size and area!

Room available has a PRIVATE BATHROOM! Also super quiet, as it is not directly facing the street. Huge closet (you can fit a dresser inside), and tons of storage space on closet shelf, above the closet and 5ft x 5ft above the bathroom.

I have my own bathroom, which is also connected to the living room, so it functions as the guest bathroom. The drum set in the photo is my roommates and will be LEAVING. I will move the TV to where the drums are now, really opening up the room again. The kitchen/living room get great Northern light with four large windows, along with beautiful exposed brick and fireplace (not working), and lovely wood shutters. Kitchen has a dishwasher.

About me: Male / 30's working in the hospitality and events industry. My schedule varies so I work remote on and off but I am often away in the Summer months. I play guitar but only when no one is home or very quietly in my room. Creatvies / artists encouraged! I like to keep things neat in the kitchen/living room, but I'm definitely not OCD about it. I'm looking for someone easy going - we don't have to be best friends but maybe grab a drink once in a while and shoot the breeze about our days? If we get along great, all the better! Down to watch stuff/hang out in the living room but I also value independence and privacy and will sometimes watch TV in my room.

Utilities are about $60/month each, split evenly for internet and electric. Water and heat included. New lease starts July 31st. The landlord needs all financial info submitted by mid June. Move in earlier than 7/31 may be possible depending on when my roommate is leaving.
