I’m a mature, openly gay, cis-gendered male, with very few hang-ups (no smoking, no drugs, sorry). I’m a professor so fairly busy during the school year. I'm quiet and respectful of space, clean, responsible, and easy going. Currently looking for a responsible, stable, and considerate roommate sought for a large, partially-furnished bedroom in a shared two-bedroom apartment. Furnishings: queen-sized bed, two dressers, desk, chair, lamps, and bookshelf. Lots of storage.

Cost is $1150/month, includes $1000 for rent and $150 for internet, electricity and gas. A deposit of $1150 plus first month's rent due at signing ($2300). First month's rent prorated as needed.

Located in Inwood, with lots of green spaces: across from Isham Park, two blocks from Inwood Hill Park, and 10-minute walk to the Cloisters and Fort Tryon Park. Also, with easy access to the Hudson greenway for cycling.

Inwood’s constantly changing, with lots of great bars, coffee shops, etc., and easily accessible by A and 1 trains, which are close, located within two blocks of the apartment. A quick trip to UWS, Midtown, or further, e. g., roughly 35 minutes to 14th St on the A.
