Apartment is located in Gateway Plaza Apartment complex, 1 minute away from Brookfield place. Easy access to almost all the subway lines: 1,2,3, R, W, A, C, E,4,5 and a Path train. Two supermarkets 1 minute away, Whole Foods Tribeca and Eataly 8 minutes away. It's right by the water, really calm and lots of fresh air. Little park just behind the building and amazing promenade along the Hudson River.
Apartment is on the 24th floor with windows facing South, with lots of sun coming into the windows. You’ll have a light from sunrise to sunset. Room is spacious! (16’2*11’1). So is the apartment itself (800 sq ft).

About me:

I’m 32 years old female, originally from Belarus, living in New York for the past 10 years. I work for a fashion company, teach pilates and yoga, and guide sound meditations. My schedule varies from month to month, but most of the times I work from Monday to Thursday at the office, guide meditations in the evenings after work at different locations in the city and sometimes teach pilates on the weekends.

In my free time I practice yoga at home, meditate, read books and study, meet with my friends, go on the walks and runs by the water, travel. I cook a little, but only a little : )

Friendly and communicable, but highly respect others time and privacy.
Calm, quiet and super clean. I prefer not to bring guests at home, but definitely have nothing against some small visits of friends/boyfriends/girlfriends. We can discuss that. I’m not that strict and happy to be flexible and understanding. However, I do prefer not to have a family over for a week, or two, or a month. I know that this wouldn’t work for me.

I don’t watch TV, don’t smoke, don’t drink.

I have been living in this apartment complex for 6 years now, with different roommates and in different apartments, as well as by myself. I love this place. It’s a beautiful and serene neighborhood, calming and rejuvenating in so many ways.

This is a 1Br apartment that I will be converting into 2Br by creating a flex wall with bookcases/bookshelves (my own little project for the next month). You will have a real bedroom and I will stay at the flex room.

My ideal roommate is someone quiet, clean, responsible and who doesn’t smoke.

Room will be unfurnished. Photos of the bedroom have a king size bed in it, you can have a smaller bed and room will get more spacious (if you wish).
