Sunny Room in Pre-War Kensington Apartment

We are two queer trans people looking for someone to take the third bedroom:

The space: we're at the top of a 4th floor walkup in a prewar building (built 1923, fully renovated ca. 2016) 3 beds, 2 baths, dishwasher and washer/dryer in-unit. Room is 135" x 108" with closet, double windows facing east on opposite side of building from street

5 minutes from Church and Ft. Hamilton F & G stops, 10 minutes from Beverley Rd. Q stop. Excellent local markets especially for fruit and veg, 10 minutes from Prospect Park, 15 minutes from Greenwood Cemetery.

You: 1 human and possibly 1 other animal (small, quiet, and non-destructive). Please be reasonable, chill, and experienced communicating calmly and promptly with housemates when the need arises.

Accessibility note: this is a 4th floor walkup, and there is unfortunately no elevator in the building :(

ABOUT THIS LISTER
Us: 2 humans in their late 20s & early 30s, 1 small snake who is hiding in my room, 1 cat (Zelda, 3 yr old shorthair); we're quiet, clean, and generally pretty neat, though not obsessively so. One of us is home most of the time and the other one a few days a week. Big nerd energy for art, literature, & geopolitics.

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Rent per room: $1280
Duration of Lease: 1 year, September 1, 2024 to August 30, 2025
Heat and hot water included, we pay for internet, electricity, and gas. Utility share is generally $60-$100 per person per month depending on the season

1st month & security deposit required, management will ask for a credit check if you end up applying.

PETS POLICY
We'd prefer pets that could be kept in your room (reptile, fish, iguana, etc). Cats can be considered on a case-by-case basis. Sorry, no dogs.
