Street facing bedroom and adjacent personal workspace on the first floor of a two-story, three unit building. Multiple closets; shared living room/kitchen/bathroom and a lot of windows.

The apartment covers the entire first floor of a two-story, three unit building and is conveniently located near a subway station, grocery store, fruit stand, 24-hour laundromat, and a few great restaurants. We're a 15 minute walk to Prospect Park and about 35 minutes to downtown Manhattan by train.

While the apartment is large, its not the latest and greatest (and is pretty hodgepodge). If you're okay with this, and flexible, then this space will be a good fit for you. I am looking for a responsible and considerate roommate that likes to maintain a clean home, has an appreciation for plants, is a non-smoker (nor big partier) and active or creative style. No pets, unfortunately. LGBTQ friendly.

FYI - If the extra room will be used for a workroom, it is most ideal for writers, painters or designers.

About Me:

Laid back marketer/graphic designer working a 9-to-5 in Manhattan (but lately working from home 3-4 days per week). Passionate about art, design, salsa dancing, vegetarian cooking, and exploring the city.

I generally keep to myself at home and am usually, cooking, relaxing or working on a project in my workroom. I would like to be able to share a dinner or a drink with roommates every now and again but also fully respect and value space and privacy.

In terms of cleanliness, I like to maintain a comfortable apartment (especially the common areas) as often as possible. I always do my best to leave the kitchen/bathroom in excellent condition. If agreeable, I would like to pay for a cleaner a few times a year.
