I am looking for ONE roommate for October 1st to share my spacious, newly renovated apartment on a quiet street in Greenpoint

This is a newly renovated, full floor, two-bedroom, one bathroom apartment on the second-floor of a walk-up with a separate, but open concept kitchen and living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils and dishes and there is a dishwasher. The living room is furnished. The bathroom has a large stand-up shower and a linen closet.

Heat/Hot Water are included. We will split the internet, electric and gas.

The available room is a large bedroom that can fit a queen size bed (currently has a full size bed, see pictures) and dresser with a HUGE closet with a built-in closet system. *current roommate is selling the furniture.

The apt is 4 blocks from McGlorick Park. The B24 and B48 buses have stops on either end of the block and the G train (Nassau Ave) is about 15 min walk.

Convenient to everything Greenpoint has to offer (restaurants, coffee shops, stores, parks, farmers markets, etc). Super easy walk or commute to East Williamsburg and Williamsburg. There are a few laundromats within 4 blocks of the apartment. I love this apartment and neighborhood, this is the quieter side of Greenpoint.

I am looking to live with a female or male roommate (no couples, one person only) that is a working professional and/ or a grad student. Looking for someone who is clean, will clean up after themselves (ie wipe down the counters after cooking, doesn’t leave dirty dishes in the sink, etc) and will contribute to the cleaning (bathroom, mopping, etc) This is not a party house, occasional guests or hosting once in a while is okay. If you do have a guest coming a heads up would be appreciated. I love having a chill, cozy, comfortable home that is on the quieter side.

I would like to find someone that I get along with and can be friendly with when we are in shared spaces.

About me - I am an early 40s female -working 100% remote from home - single - straight.

There are no pets.

First month rent and one month security deposit is required to move-in.
