Sunny bedroom in a large 3 bd apt in Boerum Hill

The apartment
The apartment gets northeast sun in the living room in the mornings. There’s access to the roof and a washer and dryer in the basement. The kitchen is a spacious open concept & has a dishwasher. There is one bathroom that we all share. Ceilings are 13ft. Its the top floor unit in a 2 storey walk up. There are only 4 apartments in the building.

We’re one block from Smith St (Cafe Luluc, Tenichi Mart, Books are Magic & Dumbo Market) and two blocks from Court St (close to Court St Bagels, Octavia Coffee, Trader Joe’s & YMCA).

What we love about our apartment:
We love how cozy and spacious the common areas are. We have two big couches and lots of desk space. We’re an easy bike ride (or walk) to parks large (Prospect Park, Brooklyn Bridge Park) and small (Cobble Hill Park). We love how easy it is to walk to restaurants, bars, and grocery stores nearby.

Transit options:
Near the F and G trains at the Bergen St stop or the Hoyt Schermerhorn A and C which is a 10 min walk. There are buses that run just off Smith St as well.

The room
The size of the room is roughly 9’ by 11’4” and its window faces south west. It comes unfurnished except for a wardrobe since there is no built-in closet. It fits a queen size bed. The picture of the room is how the previous renter decorated it.

About this lister
We’re Jon and Kevin. Jon is an architectural photographer and Kevin is a software engineer. We’re looking for a mindful, communicative roommate who likes to clean up after themselves in common spaces of the apartment. We enjoy hanging out together, so would like to find someone that complements our personalities and enjoy spending time in the common spaces with us.

Animals
The apartment allows us to have a cat. We would be open to a renter who has one already or is considering getting one.
