Comfortable Room In BedStuy, Only females

Hey there:) Comfortable room available for $750 in a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment in Bedford Stuyvescent. Fit for someone who doesn’t have a lot of stuff as the room is TINY. Our roommate is offering her mattress and frame for 150! Move in date 1 July 2023. Deposit Fee will be $750. We are looking for someone to sign the lease with us and are currently negotiating a 6 month lease with our landlord, if all fails it will be 12 months. You will need to go through an application process and will need:

Bank Statements from the last 3 months
Photo ID
Pay stubs
Employment letter
Tax Return
Application Fee of $20
Credit check. Guarantors are accepted and will also need to go through a credit check.
We are interviewing prospective candidates and based on compatibility we will make a decision.

About The Room:
it comes with closet space
You can fit either a Queen size bed or Full bed.
This room is a little small but it does come with an AC and hardwood floors.
You will share the bathroom with 1 other roommate. Please see the video attached for a better idea on the room and whole apartment:)
If you are moving with a lot of stuff, this space probably wouldn’t be the best for you.

About The Area
It’s pretty chilled here. Gym, walgreens, grocery stores, dollar store and more are about 10 minute walks away.

Transportation
10 minute walk to G and J/M trains. Takes me about 35 min to get to Manhattan. 11 minutes to carroll gardens and about the same to get to Greenpoint.
6-8 min walk to B43/B15/B54 buses.

About The Apartment
The apartment comes with a washer/dryer which is tremendously helpful (Goodbye laundromats). We each have a shelf in the fridge and get a cupboard for groceries. Other appliances are shared. There is a closet in the hallway to store some stuff but it's not that big.
We have a nice spacious living room and a newly renovated kitchen. We are also on the top floor so we never have noise coming from above. Even though we hardly utilize the space in the living room as we keep to ourselves, we do not clutter the space and bring in unwanted stuff. It is kept clean and clutter free. NO SHOES IN THE HOUSE and we have a shoe holder upon entry.

Utilities split 4 ways- Wifi 25. Coned and National Grid around 55-70 (higher in summer). We also split kitchen basics like dishwashing liquid etc.
No pets at all. And preferably females over the age of 25. NO COUPLES.

About me, I am 28 years old, used to be a lawyer but I resigned to pursue a career in film! I am a student and most of my classes are online, so I am home during the day. I keep to myself and am really considerate of noise especially at night. I would like to keep our home cosy, good energy, an environment where we can be productive and still have a balance for fun. I am a morning person and need a good peaceful environment at night. I don’t bring any parties home but I might have a friend or two over for dinner now and then.

It’s really important to us that we find someone who is mindful, kind, drama free, good communicator, honest, respectful and considerate of noise and cleanliness. I emphasize on cleanliness. If you are not good at cleaning up after yourself and keeping a neat and clutter free space. This definitely aint the place for you! If you’re the type to bring home parties and continuously have friends over, this place isn’t for you. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
