We’re looking for someone to take over our current roommate’s spot in our lease for 1 year. You’ll have to go through an approval process with the realtor/our landlord, this is not in our control. We’ll discuss required income but required credit score is 650+

Accessibility: The apartment is on the second floor, three unit building. There is no elevator. No laundry on site, no rooftop access, no backyard access.

Neighborhood: Myrtle-Broadway stop M/J/Z stop and the Utica Ave A/C stop. Accessible to the B15, B52, and B38 all within close walking distance. 10 mins walking from the nearest laundromat and there’s a deli on either side of the apartment.

The Room: Can fit a full sized bed and desk comfortably. Room includes a with a small window facing the street.

Your room shares a wall with mine.

The Space: Large living room w/ a dining room table. We have a couch and we’re working on furnishing the living room. Please let us know if you have anything you would like to bring as we are limited on space. Decent sized bathroom and kitchen.

Price: $902/month. All utilities and internet are included. Extra $75 air conditioner fee in the summer (AC not included). Security deposit is one month's rent.

Pets: I have one cat named Reign and he’s super friendly, he loves naps, pets, and sneaking into bedrooms. I’d prefer you keep your door closed if you’re not home in case the cat gets into anything. I’d prefer someone who has lived with animals in the past so I don’t have to explain why cats do the weird things they do.

Roommates:

Me: Jenny, 27 (they/them) year old black non-binary femme. I work in film/TV and I spend long hours on set when I’m at work. I’m pretty introverted but I enjoy spending time with people as well. I enjoy watching movies, and playing with my cat.
Vanessa: (she/her) I'm 25 years old, Pisces sun, and super friendly - love a good convo about feelings and life in general. I’m currently working remote full-time so I’ll be working from home during the day. I love cats, cooking, video games, watching old movies and I’m looking for roommates that are quiet and respectful, don’t bring the party home, good at communicating and financially responsible. I’m also covid conscious so potential roommates have to be vaccinated. Other than that I’d love to be friends and am super open to hanging out and exploring the city!

We’re looking to live with another black femme (NO CIS MEN PLEASE) that is good at communication, clean, and has good boundaries. We’re both working professionals and we’re looking for someone who’s a good fit.
