Looking for a roommate

I live in a two-story, brand-new house in Southwest Cactus and Jones. I'm laid-back, a nonsmoker, respectful, and clean. I don't drink or party. No pets

I am seeking a gay-friendly roommate to move in. We can start with week-to-week or month-to-month and see how it goes for both of us.

I'm looking for someone clean and respectful, with no drama, no heavy drinker, and no smoking in the house, but you can smoke outside and must be employed. You're welcome to cook as long as you clean up after yourself. My home is clean and very tidy.

The rent is $800 monthly, plus a $400 security deposit (nonnegotiable), including all utilities. I have solar. There's plenty of street parking, a gas station down the street, and Smiths just a mile away.

The room is 10x11 and furnished with a desk, a queen-size bed, and a TV. It can also be unfurnished.

I work from home, so I'm home a lot.

I'm also open to a short-term rental for $250 a week.
