Unfurnished bedroom (approx 20.6 x 21.4) available in a 5-bedroom Brookline apartment, for rent on 3/1.

About the apartment:
The apartment spans the top 2 floors of a large 3-story house. There is a common living area, and a large kitchen with a dishwasher (no laundry on site). While the kitchen itself is large, 5 people share the space, and one small fridge, so this is not an ideal situation for someone who cooks a lot. There is some general storage space available, but again, very limited kitchen space. Also, 4 people do share one bathroom so we are looking for someone to jive with our current schedules.

About the bedroom:
The bedroom is the Master Bedroom of the house, on the 2nd floor of the apartment (3rd floor of the house) and is approximately (20.6 x 21.4) - 390 square ft. The price for this room is $870 a month. It has a large sized closet with additional storage space behind it, and some sloped ceilings.

The apartment is conveniently located on a quiet street between Packard's and Coolidge Corners. Close to public transportation and a wide variety of businesses: Star Market, U-Burger, Starbucks, Peet's Coffee, CVS, Dunkin Donuts, Otto Pizza, JP Licks, Brookline Booksmith, et cetera.

*Please note there is no overnight street parking allowed in Brookline. If you have a car, there is one spot available behind the apartment for $150/month. Otherwise you will need to find another monthly spot for rent*

About us:
Current tenants are 4 professionals, all in their mid-20s -early 30s, , all fairly quiet and neat. We all generally do our own things but when we are home at the same time, we like it to be a friendly and welcoming place. We keep the parties outside of the apartment, but have the occasional friend over.

About you:
Same age group -- very important
Clean -- you will be expected to contribute to the cleanliness of the apartment which includes taking out trash/recycling, unloading the dishwasher, cleaning the shared bathroom, and cleaning up after yourself in the common areas
Friendly (including LGBT friendly)
Gainfully employed and pay bills on time
Preferably no pets
We welcome anyone who fits in well with the current dynamic

Money matters:
(FYI - the management company will vet you):
Rent: $870
Utilities: averages to about $125 p/p per month, with higher bills in the summer and winter, and lower in the spring and fall. We do have oil heat so when that gets delivered, the cost for that month will be much higher.
Incoming roommates may be expected to take over a utility.
You will sign a year lease prior to moving in.
If approved by management, the move-in costs will be:

$870 first month's rent
$870 last month's rent
$435 security deposit
$300 COR fee
= $2,475

If you would like the available parking space, it is $150 for first month and a $150 deposit for a total of $300.

You will also be required to have Renters Insurance, per the new lease.
