Looking to Fill Room in Highland Park

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for someone to take over the remainder of my lease (mid December to the end of July) for a great apartment in Highland Park. It's a two bedroom one bathroom that I've been sharing with a Rutgers student, in a great location for Rutgers students or professionals commuting to New York or Trenton, or working in New Brunswick/Edison/Piscataway, as the apartment is a 15 minute walk to the Rutgers shuttle bus stop and the New Brunswick train station, with a 50 min commute to New York for when we can all do that again. And in the immediate term, the apartment's Internet and wifi have been quite reliable for my own working from home. Highland Park is a great little town with a park, a number of restaurants (currently still open for takeout), and a supermarket all within a 10 or 15 minute walking distance, and the NJ transit bus is a short ride to the local mall and other nearby towns.

The available room has two closets, good lighting, and the apartment itself is in the rear of the building so there's very little noise from the street. The building comes with laundry facilities (free to use) and a small outdoor patio. The rent would be $825 plus Internet and utilities ($40 for your half of the Internet, and about $40 for half of utilities), no pets, no smoking. First month's rent and $1200 security deposit need to be paid in advance (rent would be charged by day if moving in before the 1st of January). NOTE: room will be unfurnished, the bedroom furniture in the photos will be removed when I move out.

The remainder of the lease is until July 31 of 2021 and the landlord will be happy to renew if you're interested in staying after that date. It's a great place and I'm sad to be leaving, I've been here for the last year and I've never any complaints with the neighbors or landlord.
