I'm looking for a new housemate to share this beautiful and spacious 1200ft 2nd story unit for the new lease starting July 1, move-in as early as June 22. This house is on the West Side of Grand Rapids, a short walk to Downtown and GVSU Pew Campus, and there's several parks and coffee shops in the neighborhood. This home has a spacious, shady front yard, secluded backyard, and large upstairs front porch. There are 2 rooms that are all yours. The rooms are next to each other, with charming architecture and plenty of natural light from large windows. The smaller room has a very large walk-in closet while the bigger room has a smaller closet. There is a shared kitchen, living area, large mudroom, and 1 large bathroom. I have the 3rd story attic/loft. I usually work 2nd shifts; I'm pretty quiet when I'm home. I love cooking, hiking, and gardening. I'm an averagely clean person but great at cleaning up after myself. I've lived with housemates for years, so I know how to live well with others (my previous housemate gave me a trophy for best roommate in the universe, true story). I have an affectionate elderly cat who loves people but unfortunately at this time doesn't live well with other cats or dogs (other pets that are more contained are okay! My previous housemate had a rabbit and they got along great). Sewer, lawn-care, and water are included in rent, all other utilities are split between housemates. Has a washer and dryer in-unit, dishwasher, garbage disposal, forced air heating, and window A/C units. On-street parking, but there's always room to park right in front of the house.
