HI, looking for a short term (6-8 weeks) housemate for my West Village duplex.
My current housemate has found a studio and is moving next week and as I am leaving the city for a year in the summer and then renting to a family, in the meantime would like to find a considerate housemate to share the place with.
Its a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 floor duplex apartment with a large common space living/dining area, a breakfast bar, a bedroom and a half-bath.
The 2nd floor has three bedrooms, a full bath, and a 2nd (optional) entrance.
The co-op itself has lots of gated shared outdoor areas to grill, read, lounge, etc..
The available bedroom is huge, gets great light, and has a large closet-6 ft by 2 ft.
There is laundry in the building as well as a security office.
Rent is $1500 a month, and that includes super fast wi-fi.
Other utilities split-usually average between 40-70 a month, although April costs tends to be lower.
Hope to hear from you!
