Beautiful private spacious BR in a 2 BR apartment in prime West Village available indefinitely.

The private bedroom is available for short stays of up to 10 days at a time or longer term up to 12 months for a commuting tenant (Monday to Friday).

It is a large light filled room furnished with super comfortable queen sized bed, book shelf, writing desk, and ample closet space. The apartment is a good size (approx 1000sf) very nicely laid out, with a large sun filled living/dining room and open kitchen with bar. Shared bathroom has a glass tiled steam shower. There is no cable TV but we have a monitor in the LR, a small projector and an apple TV router with netflix, hulu and prime.

I am a mature man - a retired musician and horticulturist still active in music. I'm easy going and easy to get along with.
I have 2 very friendly black cats, (one of whom plays piano - no kidding!).
I am the owner and the only other room mate. I'm easy going retiree, I don't make too much noise but I enjoy playing music and cooking in the kitchen and LR. I'm not anal but I enjoy keeping the apartment tidy and clean and expect the same of anyone sharing the space.

About the building:
The apartment is a five floor walk up in a well managed building complex with a large community garden; building laundry facility and garbage disposal downstairs.
The building is on a quiet west village street one block from Hudson River park where there are bike paths, jogging, tennis courts, free kayaking etc.
Local transport is Path train on Christopher street, West 4th street subway station A, C, E, B, C, D, F, M and the 1 train at Christopher street/Sheridan Square, and M8 cross town bus on West 10th street.
2 Citibike stands within 2 blocks and you can lock your own bike up on the private garden bike racks.
If you have a car street parking with alternate side rules is astonishingly easy in this neighborhood. Also there are 3 nearby parking garages.
