One bedroom in four-bedrrom apartment

Male or female wanted for nice-sized (approximately 13.8 x 9.75 w/10-ft ceiling) room available August 1, in huge, 7-room apartment right by Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. Huge (72") triple-window facing east. This room has no closet, so you'll need a free-standing closet (which I have to have in my room) or an armoire. These are available in the neighborhood at low cost. You are welcome to install a new one.) We're on the top floor of an elevator prewar (WWI!) building with millions of dollars in improvements and that has many offices from Columbia in it.

There are three of us: Andrew, a professional life coach and musician/entertainer (singer/guitarist/ukulele); Gordon, an older Shakespearean actor; and Gordana, a sommelier from Serbia who may surprise you with some nice glass of wine.

We have a large, eat-in kitchen and a large living/music/movie room with a 55-inch smart TV, a keyboard, and many guitars and ukuleles (fellow musicians welcome!) and a Teeeter inversion table. There are one and a half bathrooms.

We have a 24-hour deli in the building and Internet-wired coffee house next to that, and Starbucks, Chipotle and a bagel store right downstairs! (You could send a bucket down and hope they put a latte in it!) . A, C and 1 trains on corner. There's a CitiBike station two blocks away.

While this is a good room for a regular full-time apartment share, it is also an ideal space for a medical/dental intern, student, doctor or nurse who needs a place to "crash" during the week, or perhaps you have a house and family in the suburbs with a long commute to the city and would like a place you can stay when you're not up to a schlep.

Utilities are included: electric, gas, very fast Wi-Fi or wired FiOS Internet. We "cut the cord" for cable, but you can easily add Roku, Sling, etc.

I'm looking for the right person, so bring your personality. Minimum four-month commitment.
