Nice Small Bedroom in Washington Heights

My roommates and I have a small bedroom opening up in our 4 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment. We are all men between 24 and 30, but our new roommate could be any age or gender.

This is a nice, unfurnished room available for a great price compared to many places in Manhattan - perfect for someone looking for a simple, affordable space to live in while working/going to school/having fun in the city. The room can fit a twin bed, desk and dresser without issue. There is a closet in the room.

Our location is super appealing - we’re a 2 minute walk from the 157th St 1 train stop, 15 minute walk from the 168th St A/1 stop, and 8 minute walk from the 155th or 163rd C train stops. There are great restaurants and bars in the area, two nice grocery stores (Foodtown and Met Fresh) within 3 blocks, and Riverside/Riverbank Park is a 10 minute walk west (also Fort Tryon Park is equally close). The street is quiet and there are no issues in the neighborhood.

We have a living room and kitchen with sink, stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Washer/dryer is in the basement of the building. There is an elevator in the building (we live on the 2nd of 6 floors). We keep the common areas clean and organized.

WiFi is $15/person each month. Utilities vary between $30 and $60 per person depending on usage (lower in colder months, higher in summer).

I should mention that the 3 people you’d be living with are musicians (piano, bass, and voice) - we play pop and jazz music, and our playing/practicing is easygoing. Honestly, none of us can really hear each other’s playing unless we’re out in the kitchen/living room area, and even then, it’s not overwhelming at all. We’ve gotten no noise complaints from neighbors, and we don’t play before 9am or after 10pm.

As long as you’re okay with hearing a bit of music in the background when you’re in the kitchen during the day, we won’t have any issues. We are very clean, respectful, and in no way picky about people’s habits and whatnot. Please contact me and come see the room if you’re interested!
