Hey all. Two spots are opening up in a top floor 3 bed apartment in Washington Heights. You would be living with me, Michael. I?m a PostDoc at Columbia university, recently moved to the city from London, UK. I have been here for about a year, when I found this wonderful apartment. Looking for people who are respectful, clean and kind. Socialists preferred. LGBTQIA+ friendly. Me and my partner, when she moves here in the next couple of months, will be living in the apartment. We plan to stay for 6 to 12 months.

Once I have a group of people showing interest, I will do virtual tours over a weekend. It?s a great place ????.

LOCATION:

158th and Broadway
1 min walk to the 157th and Broadway 1 train stop
5 min walk to both the 155th St and 163-Amsterdam Ave C stops
10 min walk to the 168th and Broadway A/C/1 stop
Bicycle route all the way downtown on the west side (riverside), and on the east (st nicholas av).

THE ROOM(S):

Approximately 11.5 ft by 8.75 ft.
Has a closet (wow!)
Has a big, eastern-facing window; the window looks out into an alley and the adjacent building, but it gets a lot of sunlight in the morning. It's also positioned in such a way that you don't have to worry about people from other buildings seeing into the room.

On the sixth floor (top floor); building has an elevator.
Living room is approximately 13.5 ft by 13.5 ft
Kitchen is approximately 9 ft by 8.5 ft

FEES:

There is a 100 dollar fee to change the contract. I will try to argue this away but be aware it may exist.
There is a 20 dollar application fee.
Deposit is one month?s rent, so 925 on top of the 925 first month?s rent. That means total to move in would be:
925+925+100+20 = 1970

FURNITURE STUFF:

Bedframe will be provided if you require - Queen size.

Most of the living room furniture is being removed, so it will be a clean space to add whatever you like to! :)
