One Bedroom in 2 bed 1 bath apartment

I am subletting my room in Washington heights on a month-to-month basis. Flexible move-in date, but looking for around May 7th (can prorate rent for mid-month moves).

About the room: Small but cozy furnished room with full size bed, small closet nook, night stand, mirror, and window/book nook.

About the apartment: Also furnished, also small but very cozy and cute. Basement unit with large windows, so feels more like first floor. Laundry in the building next door (requires cash card), no dishwasher but very handy drying rack, no central air but you?d be free to use the fans here. There will be a large tv living here for the next few months as well, which is a plus. You are welcome to use the dishes and appliances we have here, just don?t break them. There is one shared full bathroom with a bath/shower.

About the roommate(s): For the next few months, your roommates would be a sweet married couple often happy to share their food and tv. One of them is a health care professional who will likely be working in the field soon, so another health care professional might feel most comfortable here. But all are welcome! After July, your roommate would be my fantastic college roommate, but I am not positive the room will still be available then. (Again, month-to-month basis.)

About the neighborhood: We are nestled between Broadway and Amsterdam on 156th. It is a great neighborhood and a walker?s dream. Grocery stores, Delis, tacos, bars (rip), pizza, banks, a post office, a gym (also rip), a bookstore and all of the empanadas are within a short walking distance. Though we don?t recommend using public transportation at this time, the 1, C and a couple bus options are between 1 and 6 minute walks away.

Rent/utilities: rent is $920 a month (unless prorated) and paid directly to me. (If you?d feel more comfortable paying directly on our rent portal, we might be able to work that out.) Utilities and internet are divided by the number of people living here, and paid to myself and my roommate. Asking a $300 security deposit to be returned upon move-out, providing you stay the full time we agree upon and everything is left in good condition.
