Looking for a third roommate to sign a lease with for a room in our apartment starting August 1st!
We have a top floor apartment with lots of sunlight and windows! It’s south facing, with an air shaft on the inside. It’s spacious, quiet, and we like to keep it clean. We have a separate living room and dining room, along with in-unit washer/dryer.
Extremely conveniently located: - two minutes to the 1 train (103rd st station) - eight minute walk to Whole Foods - close to Columbia’s campus - in between Riverside and Central Park.
The renewal price is $1700 for the room in the pictures. We have a third roommate that is interested in staying for August, so they would be available for a sublet, if you need to move in September. They’re also interested in selling their furniture.
We’re both male-identifying. My roommate (25) is a first year PhD student studying Operations Research at Columbia, he loves training aerial acrobatics and just general circus stuff on the side. I (24) am a software engineer in the city, and I love running and hot yoga. We like cooking, baking, reading, and meeting new people. We like hosting parties here and there, just not all the time. We hang out in the common spaces a bunch, but are also very respectful of personal space and needs. We’re substance friendly, just don’t want smoke inside (the fire escape is lovely).
