Looking For Female Roommate Lux Building

I just signed the lease for a sun-filled apartment on the 7th floor in Normandie Court (elevator building w doorman, laundry on the base floor) and I am looking for a friendly, clean, responsible, female roommate who’s just an overall nice human :).

The apartment is a beautiful two bedroom and you would be renting the smaller bedroom, which is approximately 12 by 11, with a huge window, facing south, nothing blocking your view. The room fits a queen size bed, a dresser and a desk. This is a flex apartment: I’ve looked at numerous 2-bedroom apartments across Manhattan, LIC, and Williamsburg and none came even close in terms of value, bedroom size, amount of light, location, not walking up 3+ flights of stairs, etc.

I am a professional female, late 30s, I have lived in NYC for over 10 years, always with roommates, many of whom have become long term friends. I spend a lot of time outside (I love Central Park), I work out, enjoy going to restaurants, traveling, etc. I will be working from home a few days a week and it’s perfectly fine if you are too.

I am looking for someone who won’t just be a ‘stranger in the night.’ We don’t have to be best friends, but in this working-from-home environment, it would be nice to have a human to say hi to and have coffee/tea/cake together from time to time.

Lastly, on COVID: I am vaccinated and would ideally prefer if you are too. I am in the middle/ balanced side of the COVID-fear scale and ideally looking for someone like-minded. If you are very afraid of COVID, want to wear masks in the apartment, etc., we won’t make a great fit; if on the other hand you think COVID is not real, we will not be a good fit either. I am looking for a balanced person who treats everyone with love and respect (yes even republicans, and yes even democrats).
