I HAVE BEEN VACCINATED.

Very spacious, this building was erected right after WW11. Buildings in those days were built with huge rooms. In most cases you will find a bedroom here is about 1 1/2 times larger than more recent buildings. The first comment I always receive is "wow, this place is much bigger than I thought" The room is comfortable, has lots of closet space, plus dresser drawers and shelves. It has a calm and revitalizing atmosphere - good place to recharge or chill.
Shared bath, NY size Kitchen, dishwasher, central a/c ,
attached garage, WiFi, Electric is shared $40-$50 per
month depending on the season, (A/C)
Another Bonus- laundry facilities on every floor.
Doorman is 24/7
Apartment is on the first floor which means no standing and waiting for the elevator (def a bonus!) the trade off is there is
no beautiful view..
If you want to live in this great city and not pay super high
city rent this is the answer.

ABOVE ALL ELSE THIS IS A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE!
All Covid Rules Observed in Building!!
We still have lots of our favorite pre pandemic restaurants but also many new ones. Inside/Outside seating is available. Retail stores are open and following State
Safety Laws. Neighborhood is also safe.
Ready and hoping for next relaxed phase of Covid Rules.

We also have a new Target on 86 & 3rd. Rumor has it that B&N will be reopening in the neighborhood (fingers crossed). Lots of Gyms to choose from and a good choice of food markets including Whole Foods.

NYC Subways are Lex., 4,5, & 6 plus the Second Ave subway. All uptown & downtown bus service. People in this neighborhood are very cautious, follow CDC guidelines and don't put up a fuss. I have lived in this area most of my adult life and I love it.

About Me::
I have been vaccinated.
I am semi retired, easy going and enjoying my stress free living. I am friendly, easy to live with. My feeling is that
mutual respect is the key to peaceful, happy living.
My renters have been mostly young women (many foreign) coming to NY to study or on Work Visas for the first time.
I am happy to help you get "comfortable" living in this wonderful, crazy and exciting city. I'll even assure your
worried Mom that you aren't living in slum city with shady characters. New York City is an exciting, vibrant and
beautiful place to live. You should enjoy every minute of your time here. I am happy to help you venture out into the hum
of the place. No worries, please -your privacy is always paramount.

I am okay with a stay of 3 months or up to 1 year and its been a happy experience on both sides. On a couple of occasions I have rented the room for less than 3 months which included an additional. My preference is someone staying any amount of time between 3 months to a year. The room is furnished and there is no need (or room) for additional furniture. I am looking for a
transient tenant. not someone looking to establish a permanent home.

If this will be your first time - don't hesitate.
As the song goes "New York, New York, it's a wonderful town".
