Furnished Room with Yard, Union Sq

Quiet and private furnished room in a 3bd/2ba duplex with a yard. Less than 5-minute walk to Union Square (4/5/6 N/R/Q L) and 3rd Ave. (L) stations. Available for short-term or long-term stays (long-term preferred). If you live and work in Manhattan, less subway and more time for living.

The bedroom has two areas: a sleeping room and a dressing area/office nook. Comes with a deep double hung closet, queen bed, and small fridge. Has a window with A/C and 2 walls with mirrors on them. The room is on the lower level of the apartment (which is very quiet, as it does not face the street) and has access to a private yard, which is shared with the other roommates. The lower level also has a full bathroom. The upstairs area of the duplex is a working artist’s painting studio (high ceilings), second full bathroom, and a galley kitchen with a dining counter.

The roommates are two men—and a hypoallergenic red standard poodle. I’m a professional visual artist who has lived here since the 1990s; the other roommate is a personal trainer.

We like to have good relationships between roommates, so please include plenty of info about yourself in your response! We’re ideally looking for individual residents who don’t have furniture. Must be LGBTQ-friendly.
