Large, Bright, Renovated 1Bd Prime Soho (pre-war)

Ad ref# 101675788

Hello! I'm on short term assignment in California, so my furnished 1Bd apartment in Soho is available for sublet. This charming and quiet apartment has been a perfect NYC homebase and is large enough for a variety of tasks, like working from home. The apartment is newly renovated, tastefully furnished with all new items, and has been kept impeccably clean with a bi-weekly cleaning service. I’ve absolutely loved living here, and I hope you enjoy using it too!

LOCATION
The building is located on a quiet tree-lined street in Prime Soho, with cafes and a leafy park right across the street. Within a few minutes' walk are dozens of restaurants, wine bars, cocktail bars, cafes, dry cleaners, drug stores, grocery food store, food markets, clothing and shoe boutiques, public parks and bike paths, an Apple Store, and even several cinemas and hotels within a few minutes walk. This part of Soho is buzzing with cozy restaurants, but becomes incredibly quiet and peaceful after 9pm.

BUILDING
The building is a prewar elevator building with 6 stories, and includes a great mix of long-term tenants — mostly professionals, social and friendly. The superintendant lives at the end of the hall, is very nice, and available 24/7 with any problems that may arise. The actual apartment is very private and quiet, located at the far end of the hall on the ground floor. There is a security audio intercom system in each apartment for buzzing in visitors. The building basement has a spotless communal laundry room for tenants, as well as garbage and recycling. The building is respectful and generally quiet after 10pm.

LIVING ROOM
The living room includes a new leather sofa, armchairs, and stools, a large new room rug, Sony 4K TV (with apps like Netflix/Hulu/Amazon), Super fast Wifi, premium cable TV, and a Roku. There is also a Sonos premium sound system throughout the house (with speakers in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom). The living room also has a new AC unit built into the wall. Large windows face east onto lots of sky and trees, so the apartment gets very bright. There are privacy sheer white curtains and metal blinds in the living room.

KITCHEN
The new kitchen is immediately off the entry foyer, and includes all-white cabinetry, gray tiles, stainless steel appliances (with new toaster, kettle, and Nespresso), and all new dishes, silverware, glassware, and all necessary cooking tools and utensils. The dining area has a round marble dining table, and seats 4-5.

BEDROOM
The bedroom has a new queen bed (2019) with new Leesa memory foam mattress (2019), a wool rug, and new bedding: 100% goosedown comforter, new cotton sheets and pillowcases (300 thread count). There are 2 sets of bedding. There is a generous closet with 3ft hanging rod for storage, as well as several drawer units in the bedroom for folded clothes. The bedroom has a new AC unit built into the wall. Large windows facing east view lots of sky and trees, so the apartment gets very bright. There are blackout shades in the bedroom.

BATHROOM
The new bathroom (2018) has a bath/shower with new, high-pressure showerhead. There are plenty of new white towels for your use. There is built-in storage in the medicine cabinet and under the sink vanity. The shower is spotless and the Shower curtain is new.

STORAGE
The apartment includes 3 separate closets: 1 closet in the bedroom (3ft rod for hanging clothes), 1 closet in the hallway (3 ft rod for hanging clothes and 1 hamper), and 1 coat closet by the front door (5 ft rod for hanging clothes). Each closet will have an hanging rod empty and be ready for use. The kitchen includes numerous cabinets for storage as well as a large floor-to-ceiling pantry closet with recycling bins. The bathroom has convenient medicine cabinet storage as well as under-sink vanity storage.

TRANSIT
Numerous transit options are located nearby. An the A, C, E subway station is a 1 minute walk. The 1 subway station is a 5-minute walk. And the N, R, or F subway stations are a 10 minute walk. The 6 subway station is a 10 minute walk. The JMZ subway station is a 10 minute walk. Major buses stop 1 minute walk away, running along either Sixth Avenue, Spring Street, or Houston Street.
