Giant bedroom available in a two bedroom apartment in an doorman/elevator/laundry condo building. The bedroom is partially furnished if wanted and the rest of the apartment is fully furnished. There are shelves, a nightstand, desk chair, and clothes rack in the room that are included if wanted. The bedroom is big enough for a king size bed, wardrobe, desk, shelves, and to set up an office space, perfect for WFH situations. Both bedrooms are 205 sq ft. The available room is 12.5 x 17.5. (Mine is 10.5x19.5, there are photos of my bedroom for size reference). Lots of natural light in the bedrooms. Air conditioning units installed in the wall in both bedrooms. There is also laundry in the building and it is very safe to have packages and deliveries sent with the doormen.

Great location right on the border of Sutton Place in Midtown East. Just a couple blocks to multiple train lines (NQR, 456, and F); between the 59th and Lex and the 53rd and Lex stops. There are City Bike docks within two blocks in every direction. The building is few blocks from Bloomingdales, Whole Foods, Central Park, several grocery stores, and easy walking distance to Columbus Circle, Times Square, or the UES. Lot of great restaurants in the neighborhood. The building is located on a quiet street close to all the action but tucked away from the tourists.

There are streaming devices set up on the tv in the living room. There is also reliable and very fast wifi in the apartment.

I'm looking for a roommate who is friendly, neat, likes to hang out occasionally but also okay doing their own thing. Also someone who is taking Covid precautions in their everyday life. I'm totally fine if partners stay over occasionally. I am working from home for the rest of the school year (arts in education non profit). LGBTQ friendly. BLM. No smoking please!
