Hi everyone! We are currently looking for one roommate to fill in a bedroom in a 2 bed/1 bath apartment in Midtown East (located on 58th Street and 2nd Ave) for an August 1st move in. The rent is $1540 and monthly utilities usually come out to about $120.

The vacant room is a spacious, well-lit room with two closets, including a built-in shoe rack, for plenty of storage. The room has an AC unit as well. This apartment also has a large living room with a comfortable couch, bookshelves, dining table and chairs and a huge tv! The kitchen includes granite countertop, a large fridge, and a new stove.

This is an elevator building with plenty of washer and dryer machines in the basement. There is a live-in super who is incredibly helpful. The building is located close to Lexington Ave/59th Street subway stop with access to the 4/5/6 trains, as well as the N/R/W lines. A few streets up on 63rd street there is access to the F and Q. Though this area feels like a quiet neighborhood, there are plenty of bars, restaurants, and shopping around, including a Whole Foods a block away.

The remaining tenant is a lovely, easy-going roommate who works in the art world and appreciates keeping a clean apartment. I have lived here for 5 years and really enjoyed living in this space, but have accepted a job in a different city and will be leaving the New York area.
