IT IS LIKE HAVING YOUR OWN STUDIO APT. in the HEART OF MIDTOWN MANHATTAN! ONLY ONE PERSON/SINGLE OCCUPANCY IS ACCEPTED. The Best way to describe is like a hotel room: you have your own living room with a bed, sofa, coffee table, TV, etc. All in One Room. Only the bathroom and the kitchen are shared.

Luxury high-rise bldg, on 34 St between 5-6 Ave. CONVENIENT TO ALL TRANSPORTATION, INCLUDING DOWNTOWN, UPTOWN, EAST & WEST SIDE. Doorman, Rooftop Sundeck during summer, and state-of-the-art gym offer Free Yoga Classes. Laundry room in the Bldg., central A/C & heat, and dishwasher.

The apartment is very large for Manhattan. You will share the apt. with one other person. You will have the front room laid out like your own studio apartment. The guest/your room has a Murphy bed, a sofa, a coffee table, and your own TV in the room. Your room faces the Empire State Bldg. There is no obstruction between the window and the Empire State Building. The bathroom is between your room and the back room where I am, which gives you more privacy. A large closet just to yourself. 38"Wx29"Dx72"H .

Just installed a high-end Real Wood queen-size Murphy bed, Not the cheap laminated wood, with a Super Comfortable mattress. Also, just purchased a custom-made coffee table with casters that can be easily moved around. If you wish, you can show off your beautiful things in an antique display case. There is a beautiful antique dining table with antique chairs and antique artwork, two handsome custom-made bookcases, and one of them is available for you as you need to put lots of books or your objets d'art. Like having your own studio in the middle of Big Apple.

The apartment is equipped with all the basics and more for daily living. It is laid out very comfortably. Fully Furnished with classic high-end antiques and custom-made furniture. This is Not a typical apartment sharing that is filled with IKEA, or cheap plywood furniture. High Ceiling. Your own 50" TV screen, DVD, CD player, etc. The kitchen is Fully Stocked with everything you need—new refrigerator, Micro Wave, plates, fine china, utensils, etc. One large full bathroom, full kitchen, and dining areas are shared.

I want someone friendly yet independent who might want to socialize at times but also has her/his own social life. I respect your privacy and will not hang around in your space unless you want some company from time to time to share a bottle of wine or dinner. I am social and friendly, yet quiet and low-key; am private, EXTREMELY considerate, respectful and mature, and looking for the same. I do not mean Mature as in just age, and as long as a person's demeanor is mature, it does not matter how young the person is.

I DO NOT BRING A PARTY HOME AND EXPECT THE SAME. HOME SHOULD BE A QUIET AND PEACEFUL PLACE TO REST AFTER A LONG DAY AT WORK:)

Convenient to all transportation-Subway/Train Stations. Easy access to uptown & downtown East & West:
34 Street 6 Ave Subway is right outside the Bldg. – N, R, W, Q, B, D, F & M TRAINS AND NJ Path, and Penn Station is a couple of blocks away.
1 block away 7AVE SUBWAYS: 1. 2, & 3 TRAINS
2 blocks away on 8 AVENUE: A, C, & E TRAINS.
GRAND CENTRAL STATION IS WITHIN a 15 MIT WALK.
EAST SIDE TRAIN #6 TRAIN IS ON PARK AVE & 33 STREET WITHIN a 5-7 MIT WALK.

Empire State Building, Time Square, Madison Square Garden, Macy's, Chelsea, and Flatiron are all within walking distance within 5 - 15 minutes. Lots of fashion stores on 34 Street. West Village, Soho, Tribeca, Upper East & West within 10 to 15 minutes on the subway.

NOTE:
No loud music, wild parties, using drugs, including marijuana or illegal substances in the apartment. I DO NOT BRING A PARTY HOME AND EXPECT THE SAME.

No animals/pets are allowed.
No smoking is allowed in the apt.
ONLY ONE-PERSON OCCUPANCY IS ACCEPTED.
Prefer not to wear dirty shoes inside to keep the place clean. NYC streets are filthy. Suggest bringing sleepers to wear inside.
Security Deposit Amount could be flexible based on your background, Creditworthiness, verifiable monthly income, etc.

"Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.":):) THIS IS MANHATTAN!! I know you can rent a 3-4 bedroom house in other parts of the country for 1k-2K, but not in Manhattan!!! IN MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, IN A LUXURY DOORMAN BLDG. WITH ALL THE AMENITIES THE BLDG OFFERS, YOU CAN NOT GET A LARGE, WHOLE APT. FOR $2300 PER MONTH!!!!! NOT EVEN A STUDIO!
FYI: My entire apt rents furnished for $6500+ MONTHLY for the WHOLE APT. on travel sites like Air B&B with their fees. If you decide to rent it on your own, an Unfurnished Regular Long Term 1-2 year lease rents for $5500+ and REQUIRES a CREDIT SCORE of 780+ AND INCOME of 5 -7 TIMES THE RENT BASED ON YOUR DEBT RATIO. In some cases, they ask you to pay the entire year's rent OR two years.

It would be most beneficial for you to have a look at the apt. If you are interested, please let me know the Start/End Date, and we can discuss it further. I am open to temp. Short-term for a couple of months to a few months. And if it works out, I can extend it longer as you need. I am flexible in terms of the length of stay.

If less than a month, it will be a weekly rate of $725 and a minimum of a Three-Week stay. No less than that.
