About the apartment:
APRIL 1ST MOVE IN. 12 MONTH LEASE. Super lovely apartment with modern appliances, lots of lighting, and communal storage. Sorry b/c the pictures we listed are old street easy photos from 3 years ago but the pic of the room we're listing is up to date! Options to buy furniture.
The living room/ kitchen area are much cuter and more furnished now! We share most of our kitchen stuff so no need to buy anything major in term of pans, cups, plates, silverware, etc.
Our landlord needs the final roommate to sign the lease by Feb 28th, so looking for someone who can sign a lease by end of month for an April 1st move in.
What we?re looking for:
We're looking for someone who is laid back, considerate, fun, and down for the occasional wine night on the couch. Anna and I are both young professional females in our mid/ late 20?s who have our own lives outside of the apartment, but also love hanging when we're together! So if you can vibe with that then you'll be great!
Our third roommate is moving in with her boyfriend, but we love the apartment and are hoping we can find a third to join us!
The Neighborhood (according to Anna):
I've lived around the city (east village, Columbus circle, Tribeca, and deeper West Village) and this location/ neighborhood is by far my favorite. It sort of skews your view of the rest of the world b/c everything is just so convenient and at your disposal...Subway lines right on our street (ACE, L, 123, BDFM), the best restaurants, the best fitness/workout classes in the city, the best shopping. 60 seconds to your left you have the quaint cobble stone lined streets of the west village with romantic, cozy, picturesque restaurants, and to your right you have more neighborhood/ town house vibes of Chelsea. And the west side highway/ water in between. Anyways... I could go on! We're technically on the west village side of meatpacking (the divide is 14th street) and across the street is Chelsea. During the day its super quiet, and you feel the work focus of everyone bopping in and out of Google headquarters, Youtube or Chelsea Market. But at night the neighborhood has such a fun energy.
