I'm off to Europe for a month and looking to sublet my comfy room.

THE ROOM:
This cozy, comfortable room is located in an artists' Art Deco apartment in historic Central Harlem. Room includes a full sized bed, a desk, storage space, monitor with HDMI cable so you can stream your favorites off your laptop, a sound system to make you feel like you're at the movies and to dance your summer jams, and window AC unit to keep you cool throughout the summer. Plus there is a beautiful big tree right outside to make you feel like you're in your own jungle escape.

THE SPACE:
A living room, and an extra space that connects to your room which you are free to use. We use it as a rehearsal space, yoga space, fitness space, and area to do kick up your heels and do some high kicks. Perfect space for artists or those who value space. There is a fully stocked kitchen with everything you should need to cook. You'll be sharing the apartment with one other roommate. For the first part of the sublet it'll be with my roommate, and for the 2nd half with their subletter as my roommate is off to Edinburgh to debut his show for the Fringe festival. We also do have a cat, named Kinsey, who's super friendly. If you have cat allergies (so do I) and a simple allergy pill will get you acclimated within a week. You will share a bathroom with one other roommate.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Apartment is located in a fun, safe, quiet neighborhood with subways a 5 minute walk away- 20 minutes to Times Square or downtown Manhattan, tons of activities/food/shopping all in walking distance. There is a laundry mat 4 blocks away. We also have a Shake Shack down the street, and an Insomnia cookie. Yum! Plus Whole Foods is about a 10 minute walk, plus gym facilities, and shopping all within our neighborhood. We are smack dab in the middle of several subways: 4/5/6, 2/3, and a 10 minute walk to the A/B/C/D. Getting around NYC is super easy from here.

RENT/MOVE IN:
Rent: $1,150 + Utilities: $50 + WIFI: $40 (Dates are flexible with a possibility of staying until the end of August)

This is an LGBTQ friendly space, as we are both Queer.
