Private, furnished bedroom on the second floor of an apartment building located on a beautiful block in NoLita. Only steps away from many subway stops (6 train at Spring, J train at Bowery, N/R at Prince, B/D/F/M at Bway/Lafayette), countless restaurants, SoHo, Chinatown, the LES ? anything you could possibly want in downtown Manhattan.

The apartment is a rarity: situated on a block with no loud bars or restaurants, it's right in the middle of one of the best locations in NYC. The room faces away from the street, so any sirens and street noise are not directly under your window.

The room is small and comfortable, with a large window, full-size bed, dresser and mirror, corner shelf, and A/C. (See photos.) We also have pillows, sheets, towels, etc. for you to use. You will have access to the kitchen; plenty of refrigerator and shelf space; a living room with a table, chairs and flatscreen TV; and a very small (PLEASE TAKE NOTE) bathroom ? the shower is in kitchen. It's a crazy small-NYC-apartment quirk. This layout has never been an issue with previous roommates.

Available to sublet short-term (1 to 2 months) or long-term.

No couples, please. We are looking for a single roommate. Thanks.

Electric & WiFi are not included, but they will not exceed $40/month (for the two combined).

About us:
We're a creative couple (a cinematographer and a voice actor) looking for a low-maintenance person who will respect the space. Our ideal roommate is someone who will keep things tidy and doesn?t have frequent overnight guests. We almost never have guests over and we only spend time in the common space when we're working on our computers or eating.

We have two cats who are very sweet. They mostly hang out in our room, but even so, if you have a cat allergy, this is probably not the place for you.
