UWS Room Available for 1-Year Lease

Lease would start May 15th, with flexibility starting May 1st to move in earlier.

ABOUT THE APARTMENT:
- Upper West Side near Lincoln Center
- 24 hour doorman; handles all packages
- laundry and gym in building
- 1 block away from the subway, 2 blocks one way to Central Park, 2 blocks the other to the Hudson River
- 4th floor with elevator
- fully furnished common area from my time in Minneapolis / room not furnished
- very close to grocery stores, restaurants, bars, museums
- room has solid walls (not flex); looks small in pictures but comfortably fits full size bed with walking space, has a closet and tall window with a lot of natural light

ABOUT ME:
26-year old female working in Marketing for a global consumer packaged goods company in NJ / originally from Florida

I love to (probably TMI)...

- stay busy; my typical work day schedule is 7am to 8pm and on the weekends out exploring all day and never home too late
- pick a neighborhood and just explore; my latest has been Carrol Gardens and Jersey City, planning to explore the Prospect Park area and Governor's Island soon! I've lived in NYC for over two years and never get sick of exploring. Always happy to have my roommate join on my adventures :)
- travel wherever and whenever I can; oftentimes somewhere in the mid-Atlantic as my boyfriend lives in Europe. Recent trips have been to Ireland and Iceland!
- work towards making the world a better place; I work for a company that is working towards a brighter future for the people we serve (yes I've drank the Koolaid) and it makes me excited to go to work every day. Added perk is that I get premium hair care, laundry detergent, body wash and more for like $2 (and definitely would get it for my roomie too!)
- host quirky dinner parties or events such as Olympics opening ceremony parties, watch Inside Out movie night, Friendsgiving, etc; never anything too wild, always clean up after and also my roommate is always invited. In this vein, I also love to decorate the apartment for the holidays!
- relax and unwind when I am home; I call myself a closet loner. I am quite outgoing when I am out and about but time at home is my time to recharge so I am generally pretty quiet and in my room a lot when home.
- keep the common area in my apartment always "guest-ready"; neat and put away. I also always have fresh flowers in the house (sunflowers are my favorite)!
