I have one more month left on my lease and I have open spot available from August 1st - August 31st. After that my lease is up. Since it's only available for a short period I'm only asking for $1250. It's normally $1400 including utilities.
Other than that, you may be able, if you're looking for a longterm place, to negotiate with management to take the place over and "renew" the lease, without having to pay the broker who's normally in charge. The fee for him is two months rent, which is slightly over $5000, so while I can't make any promises, you may be able to circumvent that fee if we approach management early enough and they're okay with it. But again, I can't guarantee anything except for the $1250 for the month of August.
If you're interested, let me know and I can facetime or have my current roommate facetime with you and show you the place.
I should add the location. It's on 28th street.
Thanks
