We are looking for a third roommate to share our new beautiful, sunny apartment in Inwood. Located 500 feet from the 1 train, or 3 blocks from the A, this neighborhood has tons to do. We are within 5 minutes of a large grocery store, a laundromat, banks, shopping, bars - you need it? Inwood has it. Tons of green-space and culture abound!

Our apartment is on the third floor of a large elevator building. Your room is enough to fit a full size bed and a dresser, and of course your things! The apartment has a large, warm living room, an eat-in kitchen and tons of sunlight. The room is unfurnished and does have a closet. It is located facing the street (north) so you do hear some noise, but hey! It's NYC, not Omaha! :)

We are looking for the following:

Ideally, someone in their late 20s and older but students will be considered on a case-by-case basis (no party animals, please)
Someone who is respectful of other folks' property and space (crucial, no one wants to lock their valuables up in their own home)
Someone who is honest (this is so important)
Someone who pays rent on time (we all gotta do it!)
Someone who will help keep common areas clean (please! We don't want bugs)
Someone who doesn't mind discussing things when they are a little wonky (Please, no passive aggressive garbage behavior, we are too old for that)

Be who you are, all are welcome, just be kind and friendly and respectful of others. We want our home to be a haven, a safe space, a creative space and home for the right person in our trio!

You will be sharing the unit with two female friends - one in her mid thirties, and one in her early forties. Both of us are employed full time and are both out of the house by 8:00 AM Monday thru Friday. Nancy is a documentary filmmaker and Stephanie is a musician/office drone. We love music, and food and to laugh. We do not have any children or dramatic issues in our lives. We are not smokers and we have two cats - Annie and Stella - so if you have allergies or hate cats, this is NOT the apartment for you. No additional pets please. Some nights you may be home alone, some nights we may all watch Spinal Tap in the living room together.
