I?m a friendly. optimistic professional looking for a clean, upbeat person who knows how to be a roommate. Wash dishes at night. Keep common areas clean, and say hi. I write, sew, and try to train for another sprint triathlon.

For you: large bright, furnished room. 10' x 18'.Queen bed with bed side table,, linens, desk and chair, comfy lounge chair , 32" TV with Roku/second monitor for work, bureau. 2bookcases. A/C. Hall closet for clothing and storage.

Shared living room with dining table, couch, TV. Also my home office and sewing area. I'm an administrator at a college, but I'll likely be working from home 5 days/week until the end of 2020 (at least). Once travel is possible again, I'll be gone a lot of weekends. Possiblity of spending a month+ away in the fall.

Shared kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, and gadgets. I tend to heat more than cook, but I've started baking a little.

Laundry on ground floor. No elevator and 4 flights of stairs up. Gets easy surprising quickly.

The apartment works great if you are working from home in the COVID Era. Also a quiet place to sleep and relax if you're been out all day. I haven?t had anyone in the apartment since March, except previous roommate and super. I'm happy to talk, and also leave you on your own.

This is an LGBT+, POC, friendly home. You must be too. My family is diverse bunch and this is no place for intolerance.

You don't have to be obsessively clean, but sensible efforts to keep away critters are required.

The rent includes electricity, heat, water, WiFi, all cleanings supplies. All I ask is that you use them to keep the apartment clean.

3 minutes to 200/Dyckman Street A Express train station. 12 minutes from 200/Dyckman Street 1 train station. 10 minute ride to Columbia Medical Center. 20 minute ride to Columbia University Morningside. 25-35 minutes to Midtown/Penn Station. 45-50 minute ride to Village/Financial District.

1-5 minutes to 3 different parks. 3-5 minute ride to bike path. Grocery store 2 blocks away or 3 long blocks away..
