About the space: 1 bedroom is available in a 3 bedroom Hell's Kitchen apartment:

Large, sunny room: Spacious room with 3 windows, a closet, and recently renovated floors. The room is furnished with a full size bed and dresser (the room can also be available unfurnished as well).

Please be aware that the apartment overlooks a busy street, and due to traffic noise, may not be the best option for a light sleeper. The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a walk-up building. It's a 3 bedroom, 1 bath apartment, with a large kitchen and a small living room.

The apartment is maintained as a haven amidst the frenzy and fast paced nature of the city surrounding us. The space is kept as a quiet, respectful and clean household to come home and find a sense of peace and calm (no partying in the apartment), so a roommate (male or female) who also values this aspect in their living space would make a great fit. The ideal match will be someone who is quiet, mature and either a full time professional or full time student.

The location is steps away from the buzz of Times Square, but far enough to feel like it's in a different neighborhood. The entrance to the A/C/E subway line is conveniently located 2 blocks away, while the underground passage offers a little further access to the 7, followed by the N/Q/R/W, S, and 1/2/3 lines. There are countless restaurant and bar options in the neighborhood. A brand new Target is around the corner and Hudson Yards is a 12 minute walk away. A grocery store is across the street and the laundromat is a few blocks away.

Utilities usually run between $77-$95 per person per month and include electricity (normally lower in winter and higher in summer months, depending on AC usage), Internet, and housekeeping fees (we share the costs for a housekeeper to clean the shared space once a month). We do not have cable.

Requirements:
-Quiet, mature and responsible individual
-Either short term or long term is fine
-Give 1 month/30 days notice to move out
-Sign rental agreement to the above terms
-Sign roommate agreement, agreeing to code of conduct that is followed in the apartment
-1st month?s rent + 1 month?s security deposit
-Rent is due on 1st of the month
-No pets, smoking, drugs or parties
-No couples (room is for 1 person only)
-Be willing to actively contribute in the shared responsibilities of the apartment
-Clean, courteous, and respectful in dealing with living with others
-Mature, responsible, and professional (and pay rent on time without being reminded)
