A bit about the apartment/room:

It's a garden apartment in a beautiful brownstone. The apartment is in the heart of Harlem. On 120 Street between Adam Clayton and Lenox. Very quiet block lined with trees, original hardwood floors and moldings. Room is completely furnished, with a door to the backyard. The room has one closets with a full size bed, and two windows. With more storage space outside the bedroom as well. The apartment has a large kitchen and living room. Washer and dryer are in the basement, and free of charge to use. The subway is close by; 2&3 (express trains) are 4 blocks away and the A, D, B, & C is a 10 minute walk away. Morningside Park is a 10 minute walk away, Central Park is also about a 10 minute walk. Columbia University is about a 15 minute walk. Harlem Metro North Station is a 15 minute walk away. This area is truly wonderful, there are tons of shopping, grocery stores, and coffee shops in the neighborhood. Such a community feel to the neighborhood. I have lived in the brownstone now for over 6 years.

So a bit about me/puppy:

I am 30 years old, I have an adorable bulldog mix named Squish who is the sweetest. I graduated with my MSW from Columbia University a few years ago, and work in a middle school. Being active in the social justice community is very important to me. I love music, arts and craft projects, and cooking. Cooking is one of my favorite things to do. The apartment is so cozy, gives you that feeling of "home". Plus the backyard is such a wonderful perk of the apartment, along with a free washer and dryer in the basement!! The apartment is a big space. The two rooms feel very separate from each other. Making it feel almost like two separate apartments. I have my own access to my room. Making it a very quiet space.

Rent: 1125/month + $35 Internet.
